The American Trucking Association reports that the U.S. will see a 24% increase in freight tonnage in 2023 and estimates that the industry will have to recruit 1,000,000 new drivers to replace retiring drivers over the next 9 years!
Every month, ten or more new companies partner with the Academy to hire as many new drivers as they can. More than 80 additional partner companies from across the nation actively recruit drivers on a monthly basis through our job placement program.
Many trucking companies offer $5,000 to $15,000 in signing bonuses to our graduates as an incentive to drive for them! When you attend American Driver Training Academy, you won’t be just another name in a stream of internet applications. Recruiters from major carriers have a direct line to you through organized visits to the school and longstanding relationships with our instructors. Our graduates enjoy a 98% employment rate.
Unlike company-backed training programs, there are no employment contracts to sign. Graduates from the American Driver Training Academy are free to pursue the best CDL-A opportunities available at any company they choose. Most graduates receive multiple job offers before they graduate.
The Academy’s commitment to securing you a rewarding job as a commercial truck driver is reflected in our new Career Center. In one convenient location, we provide access to computers, the internet, printers, fax machines, and other important resources needed to carry out an effective job search. Academy personnel who know what employers are looking for will review your job applications to ensure you are presenting yourself in the most positive light.
The value of this service is it ensures there are no unexpected problems when a potential employer offers you a pre-hire letter. American Driver Training Academy enables students to proactively correct misreported information and omissions from job applications before employers review them. This is all included in your tuition!
American Driver Training Academy is in business for the sole purpose of securing you a job as a commercial truck driver. To show that we mean business, we’ve implemented a Lifetime Job Placement Policy. If at any time you become unemployed as a truck driver or choose to drive for a different company, we ask you to get in touch with us first. We provide job leads for local and long-haul drivers with no experience through long-timers. At no extra charge, the Academy will assist you in becoming re-employed.
Our centralized location in New Castle, DE, means we’re convenient to the Philadelphia/South Jersey metro area, Wilmington, and Baltimore. I-95, I-295, Rte.40, and the New Jersey Turnpike run within minutes of our yard, and students travel from every corner of the four-state area to gain the exceptional training our facility provides and benefit from our aggressive job placement services.
Students traveling over 60 miles per day may consider staying at one of the local hotels near the Academy. Administration staff have arranged discount pricing for our students and will be happy to assist with your lodging needs.
